The thermoplastic Boa Clamps maintain a dynamic tension so that they never needs re-tightening. Whenever the engine reaches operating temperature, the shrink forces of the Boa Clamp readjust to a consistent clamping force. In addition, its clamping force increases as the temperature drops below 40 degrees F, thereby tightening the connection. Cold leaks, which normally occur when the temperature drops below 40 degrees F, are eliminated.
Boa Clamps are available in standard and heavy duty sizes for 1/4 through 3 1/8 inch I.D. hose.
The Boa Clamps are easy to install using heat gun attachments that allow users to access hard-to-reach areas. Hose Candy's clamp removal tool or a soldering iron, makes them easy to remove as well.
